For over forty years, Bruce A. Farrin & Sons have built custom workboats, commercial sportfishing vessels, and luxury yachts from a small shop in Walpole, Maine — the same way their fathers and grandfathers did, with patience, with knowledge of the sea, and with pride in every plank and weld.

Heritage
A family trade, carried forward.
The first boat in this shop — RPJJ — was launched in the fall of 1978, after the original Farrin shop in the Gut was destroyed by the blizzard of '78. Planked with mahogany on oak frames, she is still going strong. So is the family. Bruce Sr., Bruce Jr., and Brian still work the floor every day.
